The Express shipping method in Gelato Connect Logistics is designed for fast, time-sensitive deliveries. When you select the "express" tier for an order, our system automatically identifies and selects from shipping methods that we have pre-classified as express based on their delivery speed and reliability.

How Does It Work?

When the express tier is specified in an order:

  • Gelato Connect Logistics will search for all available shipping methods that are tagged as express in our system.

  • These methods are characterized by a 1–2 business day delivery SLA (Service Level Agreement).

  • In some countries, such as the United States, we also include certain Saturday delivery options under the express tier if their SLA still meets the 1–2 day window.

  • Once eligible express methods are identified, the system will automatically choose the cheapest available method that fulfills the express SLA.

Key Points to Remember

  • The 1–2 day delivery timeframe refers to business working days, unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., Saturday delivery in the US).

  • You do not need to manually select a specific carrier or method—just set the tier to express, and we will handle the rest.

  • This ensures a balance between speed and cost-efficiency, making it ideal for urgent deliveries without overpaying for premium services unnecessarily.
