This is a Legacy article on Production Configuration. If you have not yet started using Workflow Builder and still need this content, please proceed. We strongly advise you to check out the Workflow Builder sections in the Help Center.

The products that you support and the type of print plates (impositions) you will receive are set up and configured in Production Configuration from the left-hand side of the main menu.

Multiple configurations (impositions) can be set up for each product category. The configurations can be set in different statuses: Active, Inactive, and Draft. A test file can be downloaded for each configuration (Imposition) for you to test.

When creating a new configuration, these are the steps to follow:

  • Navigate to Production Configuration from the main menu

  • Select the product you want to configure. Example: Paper products - Posters.

  • Select “Add new configuration”

  • To easily identify the configuration, define a name for it.

  • Select the status that will be set when the configuration is saved: Active, Inactive, or Draft. You can always change it later.

  • At the moment, only Manual configuration is the option, but automatic configuration will be available soon.

  • Depending on your workflow, the configuration of each product may vary.

  • Before saving, you will have the option to review at a glance the entire configuration.

If you need any assistance, please contact your Gelato Onboarding manager.
