Use this article when you need to upload your company logo, set up the header and footer artwork, and control how the branding repeats across multi-page quote PDFs. After this you will see the Preview pane render with your logo and header/footer image and a generated PDF carry the same artwork on every page.

Before you begin

  • Required role: MIS Admin. Estimate Setup → Settings → Email Template is gated to MIS Admin.

  • Have your assets ready before opening the form. The header and footer accept transparent PNG or SVG at 300 DPI, with a minimum height of 35 px for the header and 40 px for the footer.

Steps

1. Upload the company logo

Open Estimate Setup → Settings → Email Template and start in the Company information sub-group. Use Upload your logo to attach the file that prints in the simple header layout.

  • Company logo — the brand mark printed beside the company block in Simple header mode. Use a transparent PNG or SVG so it sits cleanly over the page background. The image is auto-fit; the source asset should already be cropped to the logo bounds without surrounding white space.

When the logo is uploaded, the Preview pane on the right swaps the "your logo" placeholder for your asset.

2. Configure the header

Scroll to the Header sub-group. Fill in the fields below.

  • Header option — pick the layout that fits your brand: - Simple prints the company logo on one side and the company block on the other. Use this when the logo is small and the company text carries the brand. - Custom image replaces the simple layout with a single full-width image you supply. Use this when you have a designed letterhead band that already includes the logo, company name, and brand colours.

  • Header image — only set this when Header option is Custom image. Use Upload your image to attach the file. Stick to a transparent PNG or SVG at 300 DPI; minimum height is 35 px on the rendered page.

  • Header height — height of the printed header band in millimetres (e.g., 25 mm for a slim brand strip, 50 mm for a generous letterhead). Only set this when Header option is Custom image.

  • Repeat header on every page — toggle on to repeat the header on continuation pages of multi-page PDFs. Leave off when you want the header only on page one.

  • Full width header (edge to edge) — toggle on to print the header from the left edge to the right edge of the page with no margin. Leave off to keep the header inside the page margins. Use this when your custom image has been designed bleed-to-bleed.

Use the Preview pane to confirm the header looks correct before moving on.

3. Configure the footer

Scroll to the Footer notes and footer image sub-groups.

  • Footer option — pick the layout: - Simple prints Footer notes text plus any footer images you add. - Custom image replaces the simple footer with a single full-width image (e.g., a designed footer band with terms, certifications, and contact info baked in).

  • Footer image — only set this when Footer option is Custom image. Use Upload your image to attach the file (PNG or SVG, 300 DPI, minimum 40 px height).

  • Footer height — height of the printed footer band in millimetres (e.g., 20 mm for terms text, 35 mm for a designed band). Only set this when Footer option is Custom image.

  • Footer images — only available in Simple mode. Use Add image to attach one or more decorative images that print inside the footer next to Footer notes (e.g., ISO 9001 badge, FSC certification mark, awards). Use Change image on a tile to replace it.

  • Repeat footer on every page — toggle on to repeat the footer on continuation pages. Leave off when you want the footer only on the last page.

  • Full width footer (edge to edge) — toggle on to print the footer bleed-to-bleed. Leave off for a margined footer.

Save the change. The Preview pane reflects the saved layout.

4. Verify on a test PDF

Open Manage Estimates, pick a quote with at least two pages of products so multi-page repeat behaviour is visible, then choose View PDF. Confirm:

  • The logo or custom header image appears as expected.

  • The footer image and Footer notes sit at the correct height.

  • Repeat header on every page and Repeat footer on every page behave as set.

The PDF renders with the updated branding. Quotes already sent externally are not re-rendered; only newly generated PDFs pick up the changes.

Things to know

  • A logo or image that looks crisp in Preview but jagged on the PDF is usually below 300 DPI. Re-export the asset at the required resolution rather than upscaling in place.

  • Custom image mode hides the Company logo and Footer images fields — the custom band is expected to contain everything. If you switch from Custom image back to Simple, your previously uploaded logo and footer images return.

  • Full width toggles produce a true edge-to-edge band only when the source PNG or SVG is sized to the full page width. Submitting a narrow asset with Full width on will stretch the image and degrade quality.
