What Do I Do If My Supplier Reports GCP Order Emails Are Going to Their Spam Folder?
Updated over 3 months ago

Your supplier has reported that order emails or messages from GCP are going to their spam or junk folder. This can prevent timely order processing and communication.

Solution

If your supplier reports this issue, please provide them with the following instructions to resolve it within their email system:

  1. Check the Spam/Junk Folder
The supplier should first check their spam or junk folder for the email from [email protected].

  2. Mark the Email as “Not Spam” or “Not Junk”
Once they locate the email, they should mark it as "Not Spam" or "Not Junk" to ensure the email is delivered to their inbox.

  3. Add GCP to Safe Senders or Contact List (optional but recommended)
To prevent future emails from being marked as spam, the supplier can add the sender ([email protected]) to their safe senders or contact list. This step will help their email system remember to always accept emails from this address.

Instructions for Specific Email Systems:

Microsoft Outlook:

  1. Go to the “Junk Email” folder and locate the email.

  2. Right-click on the email and choose “Mark as Not Junk”.

  3. To add GCP to the safe list:

    • Go to Settings > View all Outlook settings > Junk email.

    • Under Safe senders and domains, add [email protected].

Gmail:

  1. Navigate to the “Spam” folder and find the email.

  2. Open the email and click “Not Spam” at the top of the message.

  3. To add GCP to contacts:

    • Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the email and select “Add to Contacts List”.

Additional Steps

If the supplier continues to experience issues with emails going to spam after following these steps, they should check with their IT department or email provider to see if further security measures need to be adjusted.
