Updated over a month ago

This guide provides a comprehensive overview of the Packaging Checks Builder, a tool designed to streamline your packaging process. You'll learn how to set up specific criteria that trigger automatic checks during fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way.

Navigating the Packaging Checks Builder

You can easily access the Packaging Checks Builder by following these simple steps:

  1. Go to the Configuration section in the navigation menu.

  2. Click on the Packaging Checks option.

  3. You'll be taken to a page displaying a list of your existing checks. If you haven't set up any checks yet, you'll see a message indicating "No packaging checks are configured."

You can start creating your first packaging check directly from this page.

Creating Your First Packaging Check

The check creation process is divided into two main sections:

Filter Builder (Left Side)

This section allows you to define a set of filters to specify which items the checks should apply to.

Check Configuration (Right Side)

Once you've set your filters, you can configure the check itself. This includes:

  • Title: Give your check a clear and concise title.

  • Alert Message: Provide specific instructions for checking.

  • Subtitle/Hint: Add a subtitle or hint to provide further context or instructions.

  • Probability: Control how often the check is applied. Setting it to 25% means it will apply to approximately one out of every four products, while 100% ensures it applies to all selected items.

After configuring these settings, click the Create button to finalize your check. It will be automatically published and applied during the packaging process based on your defined criteria.

Managing Your Packaging Checks

The main Packaging Checks page allows you to manage all your created checks. You can:

  • Deactivate: Temporarily disable a check by moving it to draft status. You can reactivate it later.

  • Edit: Modify filters, messages, or other settings by clicking the edit option.

  • Delete: Permanently remove a check if it's no longer needed.

FAQs

Q: Can I create multiple packaging checks simultaneously?
A: Currently, you can only create one check type at a time. However, additional check types will be added in the near future, allowing for more flexibility.

Q: How can I verify if my check is being applied during packaging?
A: Once a check is created and published, it is automatically applied based on the filters you’ve set. If you deactivate the check, it won’t be applied until you reactivate it.
