This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to effortlessly add a new machine to your Gelato Connect system and seamlessly integrate it into your production workflow.
Step 1: Adding a New Machine
To add a new machine to your system:
Add Machine: In Configuration -> Machine Park, click the Add Machine button.
Select Machine Type and Manufacturer:
Filter by machine type or scroll through the list to find your machine.
Add Machine to Your Park:
Confirm your selection and the machine will be added to your setup, ready for integration into production flows.
Step 2: Setting Up a Production Flow for the New Machine
Once the machine is added, the next step is to create a production flow for the new product:
Add Production Steps:
In the flow setup, add the necessary steps (e.g. Print) by dragging and dropping it into the sequence.
Configure Machine Details:
Select the machine type and specify the sheet size for the product.
Include Additional Steps:
Add other steps as needed, such as finishing steps, to complete the production flow for the new product.
Once completed, your new machine will be fully integrated and ready to start production.
