The production summary provides an overview of all produced quantities and associated costs. This data is calculated daily based on the production partner's local time and is reflected in the summary the following day in the agreement currency. The summary aggregates all produced quantities based on the Print Plate printed date.
How Costs Are Reflected in the Production Summary
Costs appear in the production summary at different times, depending on the cost category:
Printing and postpress costs – These are linked to the Print Plate and are calculated when the Print Plate status changes to "printed."
Packaging costs – These are linked to the package and are calculated when all jobs in the package change their status to "shipped."
Frames, hangers, and envelopes – These are linked to print jobs and are calculated when the specific Print Job status changes to "shipped."
Impact of Cancellations and Reprints
If a Print Plate is canceled, fails, or is reverted, all associated costs are excluded from the invoice. The same applies in cases of reprints - no costs will be included in the invoice for such jobs.
