For GelatoConnect suppliers, order status updates are automated and can be easily tracked in the order history. Your team just needs to confirm when an order is received to update the inventory system with the correct products and quantities. You can also contact the supplier anytime via the "message supplier" option on the order page.

For suppliers you imported into the system, GelatoConnect uses AI to automatically update order statuses based on supplier email responses, streamlining the process as much as possible. However, you retain full control over order statuses and can change them at any time. You can also contact the supplier directly from the app using the "message supplier" option on the order page.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Tracking Orders from GelatoConnect Suppliers: When an order is placed with a GelatoConnect supplier, the order status updates automatically, from pending confirmation to shipped and finally delivered. You can track the order through the platform's mobile app or desktop version. Once the order is delivered, confirm receipt to update the inventory system.

  2. Follow Up with Suppliers: If there are any issues or updates, suppliers can communicate via the “contact supplier” function within the order page. You can reach out anytime for assistance.

  3. Receiving and Updating Inventory: When your team receives the order, they simply confirm receipt to update your inventory in GelatoConnect. This step ensures the system reflects accurate stock levels.

For suppliers you’ve imported:

  1. AI-Assisted Status Updates: When ordering from suppliers you’ve imported, GelatoConnect uses AI to interpret supplier email responses and automatically update the order status. You retain full control over these updates and can change the status as needed.

  2. Direct Communication and Flexibility: You can also contact the supplier directly via the “contact supplier” feature and adjust order statuses manually based on any phone or email updates received. Once confirmed, the correct product quantities will be added to your inventory system.
