Import your supplier details, the products you buy from them, and their pricing into GelatoConnect. Once set up, you can easily place orders with your suppliers through a streamlined process, trackable in both the GelatoConnect mobile app and desktop platform. Orders are sent to your suppliers via email using the contact information you’ve provided.
Step-by-step guide
Add Your Suppliers: In the procurement platform, navigate to the “Explore Suppliers” section. You'll see both GelatoConnect suppliers and an option to add your own suppliers.
Add a New Category (Optional): If needed, create a new category for the products you're procuring. For example, add “Pillow Covers” as a category and upload an image to represent it.
Input Supplier Details: Enter supplier information, including name, region, delivery times, and contact details. You can also import SKUs, prices, and additional details either manually or by uploading a CSV file.
Order from Your Suppliers: Once the supplier and their products are added to the catalog, you can select them and place orders. Review items, choose the shipping method (e.g., supplier shipping), and complete the order.
Order Confirmation & Tracking: After placing the order, GelatoConnect will automatically generate an email to your supplier with the order details. Track order status, send updates and coordinate delivery, all from the platform. You can monitor everything via the mobile app or desktop version.
