The Repeat Orders feature in Gelato Connect Procurement (GCP) allows you to automatically place recurring purchase orders to your suppliers on a weekly or monthly basis. This is particularly useful for items you order regularly, helping ensure timely restocking without manual intervention.
Creating a Repeat Order
To set up a repeat order:
Navigate to the Catalog section.
Select a supplier and add products to your cart.
Proceed to the Select Shipment step in the checkout process.
In the Repeat Order section, choose your repetition preference:
Weekly: Select the day of the week and the number of weeks the order should repeat (up to five occurrences).
Monthly: Select the day of the month and the number of months the order should repeat (up to five occurrences).
Click Continue and complete the checkout process.
Once submitted, the system will automatically send the order to the selected supplier at the specified intervals.
Managing Upcoming Repeat Orders
You can review and manage your upcoming repeat orders from the Orders page:
Navigate to the Orders section in the left-hand menu.
Click on the relevant tab to view all repeat orders that are scheduled to be processed.
Orders will be marked with a status indicating they are upcoming.
You can view details, or cancel any future instance of the order if it is no longer needed.
Canceling Repeat Orders
If you wish to stop a repeat order:
Locate the order in the Orders section.
Select the instance you want to cancel.
Add a comment (if required) and confirm the cancellation.
To cancel the entire sequence of repeat orders, you must remove each instance individually.
