Configure seamless shipping options and integrate with Gelato's logistics solutions.

Checklist for this step:

  • Let us know which carriers and shipping methods you need. Once activated on our side, you're ready to start shipping.

  • If you need specific custom methods, we have the capability to extract labels from a URL and the client picking up from the facility.

  • If you or your customers have your own carrier accounts, please also share and we will configure these.

  • Navigate to the Logistics tab under the Customer’s menu. Here, you can:

    • Set default addresses for your customers.

    • Add custom reference numbers for international shipping.

Detailed Instructions:

  • During the onboarding process, your onboarding manager will work closely with you to determine the carriers and shipping methods you need for both you and your customers. The earlier we receive this information, the better we can ensure a smooth setup.

  • If you or your customers prefer to ship using your own accounts, you can share these credentials with your onboarding manager for the specific carrier and these will flow through.

  • Once you’re ready, these options will be activated for your GCW orders. Thanks to the seamless integration between GCW and GCL, no additional steps are required on your end. As soon as a GCW order is uploaded, the correct shipment method is automatically assigned, and a pre-generated label is ready. This ensures lightning-fast label generation.

  • We offer the flexibility to create custom shipping methods tailored to your specific needs. Our system supports extracting and generating shipping labels directly from a provided URL, as well as specifying whether the shipment should be picked up by the client from the facility. To leverage these features, include the relevant details in your request using the following method names:

  • gcw_external_label_url - For generating a shipping label based on an external URL.

  • gcw_external_pickup - To indicate that the shipment should be picked up from the facility by the client.

These options allow for a seamless integration of your unique shipping requirements into our logistics solution.

  • If you or your customers ship internationally, you can easily set up custom numbers in the Customer’s tab, as illustrated below.
