Guidelines for Drinkware Print Files

When preparing files for drinkware products, it's important to follow the correct format to ensure the design prints accurately and as intended. Below is everything you need to know to get started.

File setup for most drinkware items

Example files for each drinkware product can be found here. These files are designed to match the exact print area of each item.

  • No bleed required: For most drinkware products, the entire content of the file is used during production. This means no extra bleed should be added, as the design is printed exactly as provided, without scaling or cropping.

Exception: 11oz ceramic mugs

For 11oz ceramic mugs, a standard 2mm bleed on the top and bottom edges of the file is required. This ensures full wrap coverage and creates a seamless visual finish.

  • Why? The design is expected to run off the top and bottom edges of the mug, which is why bleed is built in by default for this product type.

Need to tailor file settings?

We understand that different workflows may require flexible file handling. If you need customized file configurations (e.g., padding, safe zones, or bleed toggles), please reach out to your Partner Manager to explore available options.
