Upgrading During Order Submission

To upgrade to Express Shipping right at the start, simply adjust your order submission API call by specifying "Express" in the designated "shipmentMethodUid" field. This straightforward modification ensures your order is processed with expedited shipping from the outset.

Important: For users exclusively utilizing the GelatoConnect Logistics module, updating your API request with an express shipping method or express tier is all it takes. Detailed instructions can be found in our API documentation.

Upgrading Orders Already in the System

You have the flexibility to upgrade an order to Express Shipping even after it's been submitted. Let's explore the methods for both single and bulk order updates:

Single Order Update

Follow these simple steps to upgrade a single order:

  1. Navigate to "Order Intake" in the left-hand side menu and select "Manage Orders." Locate and access the specific order you wish to update.

  2. Within the order details, find the "Package Actions" section and choose "Change shipment method."

  3. Proceed to select your desired express shipping method, provide a mandatory comment explaining the reason for the change, and finally, click "Confirm."

Note: After confirming the change, it's essential to double-check and ensure the order reflects the updated express shipping method.

Bulk Order Update

For scenarios requiring multiple order upgrades, our bulk update feature streamlines the process. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the left-hand side menu and select "Manage Orders," then proceed to "Manage Print Jobs." Utilize the available filters to refine your search, such as by "Customer name." Select the specific packages or print jobs you intend to update.

  2. Input the print job or package IDs you're updating, separating each entry with a space or comma. Utilize the top bar to bulk-select the listed items and choose "Change shipping method."

  3. Select a default shipping method to apply to all chosen packages or opt for individual selections. Include a comment for documentation purposes and confirm the action by clicking "Confirm."

Identifying Delayed Jobs

To address potentially delayed jobs, follow these steps:

  1. Access either "Dispatch overview (V1 or V2)" and navigate to the "Delayed Jobs" section.

  2. Download a CSV file containing the list of delayed jobs.

  3. Copy and paste the relevant job IDs from the CSV file into the "Manage Print Jobs" section as outlined in the bulk order update process above.
