Dispatch Overview
Updated over 3 months ago

The Dispatch Overview is your go-to for reviewing all orders open and queued up for production. There are multiple tools you can use on this page to organize and view open orders, as well as report issues impacting production to the Partner Support Team.

Shortcuts bar

Shortcuts bar

Above is a screenshot of the following functions, all located underneath the search bar:

Production errors overview: the production errors overview gives you a snapshot of errors logged for packages produced and shipped from your facilities. Click on this and it will lead you to the expanded Production Errors Module, where you can review errors in further detail.

Manual barcode input: in the event that your scanner does not work, please use this function to manually input the Print Job ID of the print you are working on packaging.

Report Print Jobs: if there is an error impacting production and fulfillment, use this tool to report the issue to the Partner Support Team, who will get back to you within the day. Remember that you can report more than one Print Job in one report so if there is an issue affecting multiple orders, one report can be submitted for all of them!

FTP: this button indicates whether your FTP is live (green) or dead (red)

All jobs: the date options under the production errors snapshot bar shows you the total number of open jobs that are due on each day.

The three modules above display a variety of information you can use to organize open orders.

Menu options under Dispatch days:

Delayed jobs: all orders that are past the expected dispatch date (EDD) will be reflected in this menu. If there are no delayed jobs, this menu option will not be present.

File issue: Print Jobs reported for file issues will get flagged in this menu and tagged with a red "File issue" button to indicate that the problem has been raised and is awaiting resolution

Reported other issues: Print jobs reported for other issues such as illegal content/copyright, OOS delays, etc. will be grouped here and is flagged with a red "Issue" button to indicate that the problem has been raised and is awaiting resolution

Other menu item items that could appear under Dispatch dates include:

Hold: if an order is put on hold by Gelato, this means that the shipping label cannot be printed until the hold is removed. Orders put on hold will be grouped under a black Hold menu item. Gelato rarely puts orders on hold except in special situations where are looking for extra quality checks.

Label issue: if label issues are reported for Print Jobs, those orders will be grouped here and are flagged with a red "Label Issues" button to indicate that the issue has been raised and is awaiting resolution

The date and numbers indicate how many orders remain open for fulfillment that should be sent out by the end of the day. For example, there are 75 jobs remaining to be shipped that were due to be shipped out on March 12th; the number is red (as opposed to gray) because the date has passed so the orders are considered late since they missed the EDD.

The module in the middle with the green and blue complete rate bar expands open orders grouped by product. Clicking on the dates under "Dispatch day" will change this module to reflect what is due for production and fulfillment. You can utilize this module to view open orders by frame, saddle-stitch, etc. The module to the right will update based on the options you click in the first two modules - for example, if you click "March 12" under Display date and then "“Flat formats" in the middle module, all flat formats due to ship out on March 12th will populate in the rightmost module. You can then organize the rightmost module to display orders by order ID, package ID, box number, print job ID, or print plates. The open checkboxes at the far right can be used to select multiple Print Jobs to report.
