Overview

This article walks you through configuring how many units a customer must order and in what increments, using a product's Order quantity (MOQ) and Batch quantity. By the end, the product page's quantity stepper will only allow the pack sizes you permit.

Prerequisites

  • You are logged in to the Admin Panel as a store admin.

  • The product already exists in your store (synced from Gelato Connect).

Step 1: Open the product

  1. Go to Products > Purchasable, open the product's "…" menu, and click Edit.

Step 2: Set order quantity and batch

  1. In the Order quantities section, set Order quantity (MOQ) — the minimum a customer can order.

  2. Set Batch quantity — the increment the quantity steps by. The MOQ must be a multiple of the batch.

  3. The Storefront line previews the resulting steps (for example 1 item, 2 items, 3 items… or your pack sizes).

Step 3: Save

  1. Click Save pricing & quantities.

Note: If batch is set and MOQ is left empty, the MOQ equals the batch. If MOQ is set and batch is empty, the batch defaults to 1.
