Overview
This article walks you through configuring how many units a customer must order and in what increments, using a product's Order quantity (MOQ) and Batch quantity. By the end, the product page's quantity stepper will only allow the pack sizes you permit.
Prerequisites
You are logged in to the Admin Panel as a store admin.
The product already exists in your store (synced from Gelato Connect).
Step 1: Open the product
Go to Products > Purchasable, open the product's "…" menu, and click Edit.
Step 2: Set order quantity and batch
In the Order quantities section, set Order quantity (MOQ) — the minimum a customer can order.
Set Batch quantity — the increment the quantity steps by. The MOQ must be a multiple of the batch.
The Storefront line previews the resulting steps (for example 1 item, 2 items, 3 items… or your pack sizes).
Step 3: Save
Click Save pricing & quantities.
Note: If batch is set and MOQ is left empty, the MOQ equals the batch. If MOQ is set and batch is empty, the batch defaults to 1. |
