[GCP] Set the language for automated supplier order emails

When you place an order with one of your own suppliers, GelatoConnect Procurement sends them an automated email. You can now choose the language of that email yourself, per supplier — no need to contact support.

When you create an order for one of your own suppliers, the system automatically sends that supplier an email notification.

By default, these emails are sent in American English. If a supplier prefers to receive order emails in another language, you can set their preferred language once in the supplier settings. From then on, every automated order email sent to that supplier will use the selected language.

Set it once, apply it to every order
The email language is saved for each individual supplier. You only need to configure it once per supplier — not every time you create an order.

How to change a supplier’s email language

1. Open your catalog

Go to your Catalog, where you can view and manage your list of suppliers.

2. Select the supplier

Click the supplier whose order email language you want to change.

3. Open the supplier details

Click Edit details, then go to the Information tab.

4. Choose the email language

Find the Language field.

This is set to American English by default. Select the language you want this supplier’s automated order emails to be sent in.

5. Save your changes

Click Save changes at the top of the page.

That’s it. Every future automated order email sent to this supplier will now use the language you selected.

How to confirm the language has been updated

The next time you create an order for this supplier, the automated order email will be sent in the selected language.

The setting will remain active until you change it again.
