You're an Agency PSP if you set up and run stores on behalf of multiple merchant customers as a service. You manage connections, products, and order fulfilment; your merchants log in to a scoped storefront to see only their own activity.
If you sell your own branded products through your own stores, see Getting started as a Direct PSP. If you resell Store Link under your own brand to merchants who manage their own stores, see Getting started as a Reseller PSP.
The two interfaces
Store Link uses two separate interfaces. Knowing which is which is the most important thing in this article.
Interface | URL | Who logs in | What they see |
Store Link dashboard (PSP) | storefronts.gelato.com | You and your staff | Every merchant, every store, every order, every product, all settings |
Store Link storefront (merchant) | storefrontsconnect.com | Your merchant customers, plus any employees they grant access to | Only their own stores, orders, and products. They can also self-connect new stores. |
Before you start
You have an active GelatoConnect account with Store Link enabled.
You have your logo ready for the merchant storefront.
You know the email address you'll use to invite each merchant admin.
Your setup, step by step
# | Step | More detail |
1 | Confirm Store Link is in your GelatoConnect sidebar | — |
2 | Add your logo, which every merchant will inherit | Email customer support — see Branding your Store Link experience |
3 | Decide your catalog: Gelato catalog (default), custom products, or both | storefronts.gelato.com → Products |
4 | Add your first merchant customer | network.gelato.com/[your-PSP-code]/customers → Add customer |
5 | Enable Storefronts for the merchant + invite the merchant admin | Edit customer → Storefronts toggle → enter email → merchant activates account |
6 | Help the merchant connect their first store | Merchant logs into storefrontsconnect.com and connects Shopify / Etsy / WooCommerce / Amazon / TikTok — see Connect a store |
7 | Help the merchant publish their first products |
Enabling a merchant — step by step
Open the GelatoConnect Customers section: network.gelato.com/[your-PSP-code]/customers.
Add a new customer or click into an existing one.
Click Edit customer.
Toggle Storefronts on.
Enter the email address for the merchant admin.
Save.
The merchant receives an invite email. They open the Activate account link in a fresh browser session (incognito recommended), set a password, and they're in.
Adding more users to a merchant
Once a merchant admin is set up, they manage their own employee access from inside their interface — you don't need to add each employee yourself.
What your merchants can do vs. what you control
Merchants can | You (Agency PSP) control |
See only their own stores, orders, and products | Logo and storefront settings |
Connect their own Shopify / Etsy / WooCommerce / Amazon / TikTok stores | Which products are visible in the catalog (per merchant if needed) |
Publish and manage their products | Pricing rules, shipping configuration |
Tenant-wide controls and policies |
A note on analytics
The Store Link analytics dashboard is available at storefronts.gelato.com/analytics/view. Today, only the PSP view (you) can see analytics — merchants will get a scoped view in a follow-up release. If a merchant asks why they don't see an Analytics tab, that's why.
